Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Kennel Attendant Mr S.Stefanos did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Smouldering Coal and Mexican Rush were quick to begin. Big Black Rocket and Smouldering Coal collided soon after the start. Miss Vane, Bletchley and Ruby Cabang collided soon after the start. Smouldering Coal and Tom's Gift collided approaching the first turn. Big Black Rocket, Smouldering Coal, Tom's Gift, Mexican Rush, Bomber Lane and Miss Vane collided approaching the first turn checking Big Black Rocket, Smouldering Coal and Ruby Cabang. Tom's Gift, Mexican Rush and Ruby Cabang collided on the first turn checking Tom's Gift, which collided with Bletchley, severely checking Ruby Cabang which collided with Big Black Rocket and Smouldering Coal. Big Black Rocket and Ruby Cabang collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Big Black Rocket. Bletchley raced wide entering the home straight.
Big Black Rocket was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
A sample was taken from Bomber Lane, the winner of the event.
