Fearless John and Percy's Lad collided soon after the start. Watta Chord and Crymelon Queen collided several times approaching the first turn. Fearless John and Macey Blue collided on the first turn. Tear Away Kuda and Crymelon Queen collided on the first turn checking Crymelon Queen. Crymelon Queen raced wide on the home turn.
Crymelon Queen was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 7, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left stopper. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
