Linda's Gift was slow to begin. Tommy Tattle and Claretown Belle collided soon after the start checking Tommy Tattle. Hensap Hero and Sisco Blast collided soon after the start checking Hensap Hero. Why Not Dawn and Chabay Laray collided on the first turn checking Why Not Dawn, Chabay Laray, Swift Reason, Hensap Hero and Claretown Belle. Linda's Gift galloped on the heels of Sisco Blast approaching the home turn severely checking Sisco Blast; Sisco Blast stumbled and checked Chabay Laray as a result. Why Not Dawn, Swift Reason and Hensap Hero collided approaching the home turn checking Swift Reason and severely checking Hensap Hero; Hensap Hero collided with Tommy Tattle as a result.
