Steward's Report
Dyna Glinda was a late scratching at 6.44pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Enchanted Bling was a late scratching at 8.51pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Gangnam Style was quick to begin. Agent Jack, He Isn't Really and Rumero Reason were slow to begin, Ulala Bale and Rumero Reason collided on the second turn checking Ulala Bale.
Agent Jack was vetted following the event and it was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to Trainer, Joe Borg, regarding the poor performance of Agent Jack. Mr. Borg stated to Stewards that he believed the greyhound performed poorly as this was the first time it competed over the 600 metres. Mr. Borg also felt that the greyhound was also affected by Enchanted Bling which was kennelled in the same bay as Agent Jack and was later withdrawn at 8.51pm due to a seasonal condition. Agent Jack was revetted following Event 10 and found to be injured in the left wrist and metacarpals, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. A sample was taken from Agent Jack - unplaced in the event.
