An out of competition sample was taken from Barada engaged in this event on 16/03/2015 pursuant to GAR79A.
Mr. Paul Jones the trainer of Jet Mikado redeclared a new weight of 26.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Jet Mikado last raced at 27.8kg.
A pre-race sample was taken from Sal Talk.
Spring Topaz and Chubba Chops were slow to begin. Me The Chief, Iona Nitro and Barada collided soon after the start checking Me The Chief and Iona Nitro. Chubba Chops and Iona Lucky Seven collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Iona Lucky Seven and Jet Mikado.
Sal Talk was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyound sustained an injured right chest muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
