Steward's Report
Prince Nando, Opal Bale and Buckle Up Louis were slow to begin. He's Panicken and Opal Bale collided soon after the start. Take Up Jack crossed to the rail on the first turn causing Kathy's Queen, Cool Rod and Mr. Tee to collide checking Cool Rod, Mr. Tee and Prince Nando. He's Panicken galloped on Take Up Jack on the first turn. Buckle Up Louis galloped on He's Panicken approaching the home turn checking He's Panicken, Opal Bale and Buckle Up Louis. Prince Nando and Kathy's Queen collided in the home straight.
Take Up Jack was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Jake Collins the handler of the greyhound Take Up Jack regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) Stewards charged Take Up Jack with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Collins pleaded guilty to the charge, Take Up Jack was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. Pam Burns regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Buckle Up Louis. Stewards directed that Buckle Up Louis be boxed first in future events.

Track Curator Mr. Michael Bickerdike advised Stewards that the track was deeply harrowed on 02/03/15.
