Steward's Report
Stella Girl was quick to begin. Reiterate and Caribbean were slow to begin.
Reiterate (severely checked and almost fell on the first turn and subsequently tailed off) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following event 9. Reiterate was found to have a left back muscle injury and a papilloma to the left front metacarpals. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance stating the condition no longer exists before any future nominations will be accepted.
Caribbean (severely checked on the first turn, forcing the greyhound wide and subsequently tailed off) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left sartorius muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
