General Shadow (tired over the concluding stages) underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Paw Rival was quick to begin. Freedom Girl and Paw Imperial were slow to begin.

Gone For Good (turned its head to the outside in the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was found. Stewards spoke to Mr Grant Masterson regarding Gone For Good’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Gone For Good was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Masterson pleaded guilty to the charge. Gone For Good was found guilty and suspended for 28 days (2nd offence) at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Bun Quake, Paw Fabian and Warrego Storm were quick to begin. 

Stella Girl was quick to begin. Reiterate and Caribbean were slow to begin. 

Reiterate (severely checked and almost fell on the first turn and subsequently tailed off) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following event 9. Reiterate was found to have a left back muscle injury and a papilloma to the left front metacarpals. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance stating the condition no longer exists before any future nominations will be accepted. 

Caribbean (severely checked on the first turn, forcing the greyhound wide and subsequently tailed off) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left sartorius muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

A urine sample was taken from Winnie's Wish upon arrival to the course. 

Mr Raymond Farquhar was issued with a warning under GAR156(f) for negligence, after the greyhound Winnie's Wish was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kenneling process. Similarly, Club Officials were reminded of their responsibilities and the matter was referred to the Club Manager.

Unreal Miss, Utrillo Bale and I'm Honey were quick to begin. Xeni Bale was slow to begin. 

Moraine Sofia (racing manners in the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind foot. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr Peter Fulton regarding the racing manners of Moraine Sofia in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Fulton, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action. In arriving at this decision, Stewards formed the view that Moraine Sofia was attempting to cross to the rail whilst I'm Honey, on its immediate inside, was attempting to cross out, checking Moraine Sofia which lost ground.

Judiciary and Meatball Molly were quick to begin. Dasher Bale was slow to begin. 

Ragin' Ablett, Idyllic Layla and Forbes Supreme were slow to begin.

Lamia Nonna Mary, Out Of Elite and Cerulean Poppy were quick to begin. Wine Lover, Minh Jack and Hi Good Thanks were slow to begin. 

Speedy Khe Sanh and Hi Good Thanks raced wide in the home straight.

A post-race hair sample was taken from Lamia Nonna Mary - placed 2nd in the event. Kennel representative Ms Andrea Chapple was queried as significant betting fluctuations were observed by Stewards. The comments of Ms. Chapple were noted.

Speedy Easy, Ronny Allsorts and Come and see were quick to begin. Baby Girl Pearl was slow to begin.

Man Of Courage was quick to begin. Zorbas Bale and She Devil were slow to begin.

She Devil (stumbled soon after the start and lost ground) underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

A pre-race urine sample was taken from Snowy's Sister.

Zipping Jetson was slow to begin.

You Yang Yaala (checked turning out of the back straight and lost ground) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right back muscle and left sartorius. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Just Want Pizza (checked turning out of the back straight and lost ground) underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Snowfest – Late scratching at 11:56am when Mr Tristan Dales reported the greyhound to be vomitting (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.

A urine sample was taken from Pursuit upon arrival to the course.
