Australasian Tab and Evening In Paris were quick to begin. Infinite Senor was slow to begin. Dynamic Dash, Go Go Spaghettio and Implosion Liam collided soon after the start. Umiko Bale, Dynamic Dash, Go Go Spaghettio and Implosion Liam collided approaching the first turn. Australasian Tab and Evening In Paris collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Australasian Tab. Behemothic Chef, Umiko Bale, Dynamic Dash, Go Go Spaghettio and Implosion Liam collided approaching the home turn checking Behemothic Chef and Implosion Liam, severely checking Dynamic Dash and Go Go Spaghettio. Australasian Tab and Behemothic Chef collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight checking Australasian Tab. Australasian Tab and Implosion Liam collided several times in the home straight checking both greyhounds.
Australasian Tab was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the abdominals, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Dynamic Dash was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the left hind, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Go Go Spaghettio was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Implosion Liam was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr D. Curtain. Mr Curtain declined to have the greyhound, Implosion Liam revetted. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1), Stewards charged Implosion LIam with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Curtain pleaded guilty to the charge. Implosion Liam was found guilty and was suspended for 28 days at Horsham and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
