Steward's Report
Pud and Shattered Ice were slow to begin. Sir Bekim, Wait Til Dark and Laurie's Chance collided soon after the start checking Shattered Ice, Laurie's Chance and Wait Til Dark. Pud, Railway Smokey and Miss Cersei collided on the first turn, severely checking Railway Smokey which stumbled and lost ground as a result. Shattered Ice checked off Pud approaching the home turn. Pud and Shattered Ice collided approaching the home turn checking Shattered Ice and Laurie's Chance.
Railway Smokey was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained multiple spike wounds, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
