Iroquois Drum was very slow to begin (2 lengths).  Lispy Bale, Lichfield Angel and Winter Is Coming were slow to begin.  Lispy Bale and Winter Is Coming collided soon after the start.  Just Angus and Spring Drifter collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Melee Bale.  Iroquois Drum checked off Lichfield Angel approaching the home turn.  Winter Is Coming checked off Melee Bale approaching the home turn checking Winter Is Coming and Just Angus.  Winter Is Coming and Iroquois Drum collided on the home turn checking Winter Is Coming.

Just Angus was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a dislocated left hind toe, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Winter Is Coming was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left pencil muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Harrier Bale was slow to begin.  Awesome Cove, Silver Ashlie, Run Riot and Another Halo collided soon after the start checking Awesome Cove, Silver Ashlie and Run Riot.  Awesome Cove, Run Riot, Disaaci and Harrier Bale collided on the first turn checking Silver Ashlie, Run Riot, Disaaci and Harrier Bale.  Disaaci raced wide on the home turn and collided with Silver Ashlie.  Harrier Bale and Run Riot collided in the home straight.

Girl In Flight was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Be Hopeful, Black Shuck and Pep Cee Kola collided on the first turn, severely checking Be Hopeful.  Pep Cee Kola, Railway Ruth, Rainbow Rebel and Girl In Flight collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Rainbow Rebel.  Railway Ruth and Girl In Flight collided approaching the home turn checking Railway Ruth.  Pep Cee Kola and Girl In Flight raced wide on the home turn.  Railway Ruth and Girl In Flight collided in the home straight checking Railway Ruth.

Pud and Shattered Ice were slow to begin.  Sir Bekim, Wait Til Dark and Laurie's Chance collided soon after the start checking Shattered Ice, Laurie's Chance and Wait Til Dark.  Pud, Railway Smokey and Miss Cersei collided on the first turn, severely checking Railway Smokey which stumbled and lost ground as a result.  Shattered Ice checked off Pud approaching the home turn.  Pud and Shattered Ice collided approaching the home turn checking Shattered Ice and Laurie's Chance.

Railway Smokey was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained multiple spike wounds, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Why Not Wayne was a late scratching at 6.18p.m. due to non arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer W. Gray was fined the sum of $100.

He's Your Mate was slow to begin.  Skyfire was quick to begin.  Skyfire and Poacher Flash collided soon after the start.  Poacher Flash, Rain Stream, Sporty Heart and Shine collided approaching the first turn checking He's Your Mate.  Poacher Flash, Rain Stream, Sporty Heart and Shine collided entering the back straight checking Poacher Flash, Rain Stream and Sporty Heart.  Poacher Flash and Rain Stream collided approaching the second turn checking Skyfire.  Skyfire and Poacher Flash collided on the second turn.  Poacher Flash and Sporty Heart collided approaching the home turn.

Lioness Lulu was a late scratching at 5.49p.m on Veterinary advice GAR 37 (fleas). No stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Ivy Bale was quick to begin.  Big Barking Bert was slow to begin.  Walt Bale and Mystic Cloud collided on the first turn checking Mystic Cloud.  Walt Bale and Coulta Tiger collided approaching the home turn checking Coulta Tiger.  Coulta Tiger checked off Up And Adam approaching the home turn and raced wide, checking Big Barking Bert as a result.  Big Barking Bert raced wide on the home turn.  Up And Adam checked off Gunmetal Rebel entering the home straight.

At the end of this event, the judges inadvertently semaphored Race 8 before correcting it to Race 7.

This race was delayed by approximately 3 minutes due to the attendance of an electrical technician.

Ice Toronado was slow to begin.  Destini Lobo, Dunstall and Turbine collided soon after the start, severely checking Dunstall.  Sir Lenny checked off Code Breaker on the first turn.  All Inn Carla and Oriental Tsunami collided approaching the home turn.  All Inn Carla checked off Oriental Tsunami on the home turn.  Turbine raced wide on the home turn.  All Inn Carla and Dunstall collided in the home straight checking All Inn Carla.

Aristotle Bale and Dyna Nihilist were slow to begin.  Dragon Empire, Aristotle Bale and Paramount Arrow collided soon after the start checking Aristotle Bale.  Aristotle Bale and Paramount Arrow collided on the first turn checking Paramount Arrow.  Sofa So Good and Bugati Black collided entering the home straight.  Paramount Arrow and Dyna Nihilist collided in the home straight.

Breshia Bale was quick to begin.  All Inn Africa was slow to begin.  Bazzagrey, Maverick Dusty and Corgi Cry collided soon after the start checking Maverick Dusty.  Evers Bale and Thyme To Rock collided approaching the first turn.  Bazzagrey and Thyme To Rock collided on the first turn checking Thyme To Rock.  All Inn Amy, Corgi Cry and Maverick Dusty collided on the first turn checking Corgi Cry.  All Inn Africa and Thyme To Rock collided approaching the home turn checking Thyme To Rock.  Bazzagrey raced wide on the home turn.

All Inn Bemm was quick to begin.  Osti's Explorer was slow to begin.  Dalmuir Prince and Osti's Explorer collided soon after the start checking Osti's Explorer.  Dalmuir Prince galloped on the heels of Volcanic Rock on the first turn checking Volcanic Rock.  Dalmuir Prince checked off Volcanic Rock approaching the home turn.  Osti's Explorer checked off Lektra Stroke approaching the home turn.  Lektra Stroke and Ice Cossack collided approaching the home turn checking Lektra Stroke.
