Diamond Hustler was a late scratching at 11:50AM due to non arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer J. Dunn was fined the sum of $100.
Vapour Street, Madame Betsy and Osti's Victory were slow to begin.
Mystique Ayers checked off Park It Hayley soon after the start. Mystique Ayers, Vapour Street and Osti's Victory collided approaching the home turn checking Osti's Vicotry and severely checking Vapour Street. Mystique Ayers checked off Haradam entering the home straight.
Following the event, judges inadvertedly semiphored the numbers of 7 (1 and 2 dead heating) (4 for third). There was no dead heat for second placing, numbers were then corrected to 7, 1, 2, 4 before all clear was given.
