Steward's Report
Pocket Mouse was quick to begin. Little Darl was slow to begin.
Pocket Mouse (severely checked and fell turning out of the front straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind abrasion. No stand down period was imposed.
Holden Bale and Little Darl collided on the home turn, severely checking both greyhounds and subsequently causing Holden Bale to fall; both greyhounds underwent post-race veterinary examinations:
Holden Bale - found to have an abrasion to the right achilles. No stand down period was imposed.
Little Darl - no apparent injury was reported.
A post–race urine sample was taken from Canya Explode – the winner of the event.
