Steward's Report
Boil The Billy was wuick to begin. Cinnamon Twist and Episode Five were slow to begin.
Ballymac Mist underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Desmond McPhie regarding the racing manners of Ballymac Mist entering the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. McPhie, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued.
Grey Chief (turned its head to the outside on the home turn and visibly eased) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Tony Cortese regarding Grey Chief’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Grey Chief was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Cortese reserved his right to enter a plea.
