Ballymac Mist underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Desmond McPhie regarding the racing manners of Ballymac Mist entering the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. McPhie, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued.

Grey Chief (turned its head to the outside on the home turn and visibly eased) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Tony Cortese regarding Grey Chief’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Grey Chief was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Cortese reserved his right to enter a plea. Grey Chief was found guilty and suspended for three months (3rd offence) at all tracks and must perform two Satisfactory Trials in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Are You Okay and Archer Seven were quick to begin. Marshmallow, Another Story and Foxy Lady Song were slow to begin. 

Archer Seven (visibly eased entering the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr Matthew Bright regarding Archer Seven’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Archer Seven was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Bright pleaded guilty to the charge. Archer Seven was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mr. Luke Adams was issued with a warning, in accordance with GAR 86 & LR 39.1, for kennelling greyhounds after the appointed kennelling closure time. As a result, the kennels closed at 14:24.

Compton Gumdrops (checked approaching the first turn, faltered and tailed off) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Rock Balboa was slow to begin. Long Way Home, Rock Balboa and Glyos Move raced wide in the home straight.

Go Astray – Late scratching at 13:58 due to weight variation(GAR 101).Go Astray is not permitted to compete for 10 days in any other Event. Trainer, Ms. Margaret Read was fined $100.
