Are You Okay and Archer Seven were quick to begin. Marshmallow, Another Story and Foxy Lady Song were slow to begin.
Archer Seven (visibly eased entering the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr Matthew Bright regarding Archer Seven’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Archer Seven was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Bright pleaded guilty to the charge. Archer Seven was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
