A pre–race sample was taken from Amazing Sienna.
Jagger's Lady and Nando Commando were quick to begin. Lee Lee Cabang was slow to begin.
Jagger's Lady - visibly eased turning off the back straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and revetted following race 12 – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Mark Giddings regarding Jagger's Lady’s racing manners turning off the back straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Jagger's Lady was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Giddings pleaded not guilty to the charge. Jagger's Lady was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
