Steward's Report
Saint Finnie and Inga Buddy were quick to begin. Chocolate Blue and Blue Tick Stella were slow to begin.
Blue Tick Stella raced wide throughout the event.
Chocolate Blue (lost ground in the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and re-vetted following race 6 – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Darren Peterson regarding Chocolate Blue’s performance from the home turn to the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr. Peterson, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Chocolate Blue unsatisfactory. Chocolate Blue must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post–race sample was taken from Saint Finnie – the winner of the event.
