Steward's Report
Mighty Marlus was slow out. Charming Gift,Bernmar Apollo and Latifi Jimbo collided soon after the start checking Bernmar Apollo. Charming Gift faltered approaching the first and subsequently tailed off. Spanish Commando and Mighty Marlus collided on the first turn. Miracle Jackpot,Timex and Bernmar Apollo raced wide approaching the home turn.
Charming Gift was vetted following the event and .It was reported that the greyhound pulled flexor tendons in both front legs,a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr H Hunter trainer of Charming Gift. Stewards deemed the performance of Charming Gift unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 101, Stewards directed that Charming Gift must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
