Steward's Report
Hec's Fury and Black Diva were slow out. Heading Vin and Long Kiss collided approaching the first turn. Perfect Storm checked off the heels of Heading Vin approaching the first turn checking Hec's Fury. Heading Vin, Long Kiss, Golden Banjo, Black Diva and Brookside Shiraz collided on the first turn checking Perfect Storm, Hec's Fury and Black Diva; Golden Banjo fell as a result. Black Diva checked off the heels of Hec's Fury on the second turn.
Golden Banjo was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained cuts to the left hind. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Stobo, the Stewards will stand Golden Banjo down from competing for 5 days.
