Steward's Report
Royal Cotton and Rebus were slow out. Zazzy Princess and Hackett Bale collided soon after the start. Eden's Shadow and Royal Cotton colloded approaching the first turn. Royal Cotton and Rebus collided on the first turn. Zazzy Princess and Duchess On Fire collided on the first turn. Deliberator galloped on the heels of Duchess On Fire approaching the second turn causing both greyhounds to stumble. Zazzy Princess and Hackett Bale collided approaching the finishing line.
Deliberator was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left triangle and right wrist. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Deliberator down from competing for 7 days.
Duchess On Fire was also vetted following the Event and Dr. Bell reported that he could find no injury apparent with the greyhound.
