Steward's Report
Turkish Girl, Cazaly and Marois Jack were slow out. Cazaly and Marois Jack collided soon after the start. Bowl Over and Bradbury's Luck collided on the first turn checking Bowl Over. Miss Buffy and Dyna Carrillo collided approaching the home turn. Bradbury's Luck and Marois Jack raced wide approaching the home turn. Bradbury's Luck raced wide entering the home straight. Bowl Over checked off Cazaly entering the home straight. Miss Buffy eased approaching the winning post.
Miss Buffy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound had pain at the base of the neck ligaments, right elbow and left shoulder strained. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Acting under GAR 98(1)(d), the stewards charged Miss Buffy with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a STAT before any future nomination will be accepted.
