Montane was quick to begin. Lynlaw Ollie was slow to begin. Samurai Spike and Roadie collided soon after the start. Added Bonus, Montane, Roadie and Magic Court collided on the first turn, checking Roadie, Magic Court and Montane. Sound Lad and Magic Court collided approaching the home turn. Samurai Spike and Roadie collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Montane was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the right tricep, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Trakker Lass was quick to begin. Sparkling Star and Mini Morgo were slow to begin. Foxy Flyer, Mrs Fozz and Miss Icy Fantasy collided soon after the start. Lup Chong and Jaymie's Revenge collided on the first turn, checking Lup Chong. Sparkling and Mrs Fozz collided approaching the home turn, checking Mrs Fozz.

Bernmar Percy was a late scratching at 10:55am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr D. Leathan was fined the sum of $100.

Verbal Warning was slow to begin. Full Of Dee and Bradfield collided soon after the start, checking Full Of Dee. Astrome and Ain't No Rest collided approaching the first turn, checking Astrome. Verbal Warning and Bradfield collided on the first turn, severely checking both greyhounds. 

Verbal Warning was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to both shoulders, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Full Of Dee was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the left shoulder, right tricep and left triangle muscles, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Bradfield was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to both shoulders and right triangle muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Master Of Time was quick to begin. Brass Knocka and Toy Tsunami collided soon after the start. Magnetism and Kooper's Crown collided soon after the start. Claretown Snowy and Magnetism collided soon after the start, checking Claretown Snowy. Regal Villain and Magnetism collided in the back straight.

Judy's My Name was quick to begin. All Inn Dora, Miner Rush and Planetman were slow to begin. Diamond Hustler and Diane's Lass collided soon after the start. Diane's Lass and Railway Smokey collided soon after the start. All Inn Dora, Miner Rush, Diamond Hustler, Diane's Lass, Railway Smokey, Judy's My Name, Planetman and Camwell's Cool collided on the first turn, checking All Inn Dora, Diamond Hustler, Railway Smokey, Diane's Lass and Camwell's Cool. All Inn Dora and Railway Smokey collided approaching the home turn, checking Railway Smokey. All Inn Dora and Miner Rush collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Miner Rush and Camwell's Cool collided approaching the winning post.

All Inn Dora was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Can Of Worms, Oriental Tsunami and Moroccan Train were slow to begin. Have No Fear, Pentapod and Grace The Ace collided on the first turn, checking Grace The Ace and Can Of Worms. Have No Fear, Pentapod and Moroccan Train collided in the back straight, checking Have No Fear, Pentapod and Oriental Tsunami. Grace The Ace and Pentapod collided on the second turn, checking Grace The Ace and Can Of Worms. Boppin' Dazzler marred the running of Black Promise approaching the winning post. 

Boppin' Dazzler was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the left shoulder and triangle muscles, a day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Flynn, the trainer of the greyhound Boppin' Dazzler regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Boppin' Dazzler with marring. Mr Flynn pleaded not guilty to the charge, Boppin' Dazzler was found guilty and suspended the greyhound for 12 months (all tracks) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(c), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mr N. Burns, trainer of Irish Down Under redeclared a new weight of 26.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Irish Down Under last raced at 27.6kg.

Super Leggera and Natie's Girl were quick to begin. Kalimna Elite and Venom's Lad were slow to begin. Irish Down Under, Valletta Knight and Natie's Girl collided approaching the first turn, checking Natie's Girl. Kalimna Elite and Classique collided approaching the first turn, checking Classique. Irish Down Under and Bit Iffy collided on the first turn. Kalimna Elite and Natie's Girl collided on the home turn. 

Harry Aztec, Victoria Jay and Ima Goodin were slow to begin. Bowser Koopa and Harry Aztec collided soon after the start, checking Harry Aztec. Funky Star, Ceejay Whim, Missy Bee and Bowser Koopa collided on the first turn, checking Funky Star, Victoria Jay and Ceejay Whim. Ima Goodin checked off Bowser Koopa approaching the second turn. 

Mr G.Long, trainer of Thyme For Bed redeclared a new weight of 27.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Thyme For Bed last raced at 26.2kg.

Magic Shuffle and Clovalley Spike were slow to begin. Remo Wind, Clovalley Spike and Cullquin Jake collided soon after the start, checking Clovalley Bev and Magic Shuffle. Thyme For Bed checked off Remo Wind approaching the first turn. Clovalley Bev checked off Faint Glimpse on the first turn, checking Clovalley Spike. Thyme For Bed and Faint Glimpse collided on the first turn, checking Thyme For Bed and Vizzari. Remo Wind checked off Cullquin Jake on the home turn. Clovalley Bev raced wide in the home straight.
