Mr K. Ashton, trainer of Our Numbered redeclared a new weight of 31.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Our Numbered last raced at 30.4kg.
Petite Ruby was quick to begin. Tricky Temper, Clovalley Angus, Cheeky Spencer and Rugall were slow to begin. Cheeky Spencer and Our Numbered collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds. Clovalley Angus and Rugall collided approaching the first turn, checking Clovalley Angus. Rugall, Uno Frankie and Petite Ruby collided approaching the home turn, checking Uno Frankie and Petite Ruby. Petite Ruby crossed to the outside entering the home straight.
Our Numbered was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the left shoulder, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
