Steward's Report
A pre–race sample was taken from Zed's Back.
Kraken Tilly was slow to begin. Gifted Faith was very slow to begin (4 lengths). Hudson Flyer raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Mccallum regarding the racing manners of Hudson Flyer on the first turn. After hearing submissions from Mr. Mccallum, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
Bindy Boo (turned head outwards and collided with Bonnieville Icon entering the home straght) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left chest muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. J. Hooke regarding Bindy Boo’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Bindy Boo was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mrs. Hooke pleaded guilty to the charge. Bindy Boo must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
