Steward's Report
A pre–race sample was taken from Panama Parade.
Panama Parade, Raging Cable and Cal's Sensation were slow to begin.
It was noted that the muzzle of Panama Parade became dislodged during the running of the event.
Kraken Rock (turned it's head to the outside and collided with Spoiler Alert entering the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Eyles regarding Kraken Rock’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Kraken Rock was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Eyles pleaded guilty to the charge. Kraken Rock must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
