This race was delayed 3 minutes due to Sky Chanel commitments at Toowoomba.
Blingsteen and Mister Mint were slow to begin and collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Mister Mint checked off Southwood Denis approaching the first turn. Jindara, Amercia Bale and Southwood Denis collided approaching the first turn checking Amercia Bale. Sir Bekim and Planetman collided approaching the first turn checking Planetman and Southwood Denis. Blingsteen and Mister Mint collided approaching the first turn checking Blingsteen. Jindara checked off Planetman on the first turn. Mister Mint checked off Jindara approaching the home turn and raced wide. Southwood Denis and Jindara collided on the home turn checking Jindara. Sir Bekim and Zulekha collided in the home straight. Planetman and Southwood Denis collided in the home straight.
