Gangalla Nugget was slow to begin. 

Veetee Destroyer stumbled soon after the start. She Can't Run and Dan Overboard collided soon after the start. Dan Overboard and Veetee Destroyer collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. He's Zarr Badger, Our Madam and Radley's Reality collided on the first turn checking Our Madam. Gangalla Nugget and She Can't Run collided approaching the home turn. Gangalla Nugget raced wide on the home turn. 

Veetee Destroyer was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. 

Stewards spoke to Helen Gates, the handler of the greyhound Dan Overboard which tailed off and was vetted and revetted following race 3. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right calf muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Dan Overboard with failing to pursue to the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. Gates pleaded guilty to the charge, Dan Overboard was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Bush Rebel was slow to begin. 

Gaelic Peter crossed to the outside soon after the start checking New Job Jimmy, Shifty Jack, Dee Summer and Augusta Dreaming. Shifty Jack brushed the running rail approaching the home turn. Bush Rebel and Drum Grohl collided approaching the home turn. New Job Jimmy checked off Shifty Jack in the home straight. Augusta Dreaming, New Job Jimmy and Shifty Jack collided approaching the winning post. 

Shifty Jack was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right back paw. No stand down period was imposed. 

Bush Courage, Ruby's Entity and Noonbarra Joe collided approaching the first turn checking Ruby's Entity which collided with Gustavo Fring. Ruby's Entity, Tontoria and Ima Lonely Boy collided on the first turn checking Ima Lonely Boy and severely checking Tontoria which stumbled and lost considerable ground. Ima Lonely Boy checked off Demolition Guy approaching the home turn. Noonbarra Joe checked off Bush Courage approaching the home turn and collided with Quirinus Quirrel. Noonbarra Joe checked off Quirinus Quirrel entering the home straight. Ruby's Entity and Gustavo Fring collided in the home straight. 

Tontoria was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triceps. A 5 day stand down period was impose.d 

Stewards spoke to Damian Fleming, the trainer of Bush Courage, regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing (GAR 46).

Narralee crossed to the rail soon after the start checking All Mighty Óne, Tybellene and Bronco De Jurer and severely checking Sahara. Tybellene checked off Bronco De Jurer on the first turn. All Mighty One and Rylee's Bandit collided approaching the home turn checking All Mighty One, Bronco De Jurer, Tybellene and Sahara. Kraken Conan and Narralee collided on the home turn.

Full On Bling checked off Hashtag Jordan on the first turn and collided with Aqua Vitae. Swan To Steele and Full On Bling collided in the back straight checking Full On Bling. Aqua Vitae and He's your Mate collided several times in the back straight severely checking Aqua Vitae. He's Your Mate raced wide on the home turn. Swan To Steele and Hashtag Jordan collided in the home straight. Chechezz and Hashtag Jordan collided approaching the winning post.
