Mahogany Diamond crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Turanza Magic, Remo Coffee and Uriah's Thunder.  Uriah's Thunder, Remo Coffee and Turanza Magic collided soon after the start checking Remo Coffee.  Alice Fox, Quirinus Quirrel and Riddle Me Lad collided on the first turn checking Alice Fox and Quirinus Quirrel.  Violet Desire and Riddle Me Lad collided several times from approaching the home turn to the home turn.  Uriah's Thunder and Turanza Magic collided on the home turn.  Mahogany Magic, Quirinus Quirrel and Riddle Me Lad collided approaching the winning post.

Braquo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right shoulder.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Kiltanon Fagan was quick to begin.  Full Day was slow to begin.  Full Day and Our Banjo collided soon after the start checking Full Day.  Full Day checked off Stolen Gem on the first turn checking Rainbow Rebel.  Kiltanon Fagan faltered approaching the home turn and lost ground as a result.  Full Day, Spiral Bek and Our Banjo raced wide on the home turn.

Miss. K. Smith, representative of Nancy's Guess redeclared a new weight of  27.6kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Nancy's Guess last raced at 26.5kgs.

Weight Trial - Cruising Panther trialled over the 450 metre distance from box 1, weight 34.8kgs.  The time of the trial was 26.05.  Cruising Panther was cleared.

Charlie's Man trialled over the 390 metre distance from box 5, weight 30.8kgs.  The greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 6.  The time of the trial was 22.79.  The greyhound was beaten by a margin of a head.  Charlie's Man was cleared. 

Maddi Gari trialled over the 390 metre distance from box 1, weight 26.8kgs. The greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 6. The time of the trial was 22.79. The greyhound won by a margin of a head. Maddi Gari was cleared

Jack's King trialled over the 390 metre distance from box 3, weight 32.8kgs. The greyhound pulled up. The time of the trial was 22.79.  Jack's King was not cleared
