Steward's Report
In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed ‘Heat Affected’. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 26.0 degrees and the kennel temperature was 17.2 degrees. Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue, as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.
Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Kennel Attendant Mr. G. Glass did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.
Lenaghan, Buck Shines and Fled The Scene were slow to begin.
Zipping Gwen (fell on the first turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a back injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
