Laura Dora was quick to begin.  My Pocket Rocket, Amaroo Crack It and Always About Me were slow to begin.  Laura Dora and Sideways Glance collided on the home turn.  Child's Dream eased in the home straight.  Jungle Jane and Always About Me collided in the home straight.  Jungle Jane and Child's Dream collided approaching the winning post.

Laura Dora was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left chest muscle and left pencil muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Graeme Joske the trainer of the greyhound Child's Dream regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Child's Dream was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right shoulder and left sesamoid, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1) the Stewards charged Child's Dream with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury.  Mr. Joske pleaded guilty to the charge, Child's Dream was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Lakeview Harley was quick to begin.  Amaroo Emirates was slow to begin.  Beau Mambo, Sweet Willow and Longwarry Laurie collided soon after the start.  Golden Dreams and Lakeview Harley collided soon after the start.  Amaroo Emirates was checked off General Hap soon after the start.  Longwarry Laurie was checked off Amaroo Sand Man on the first turn.  Amaroo Sand Man and General Hap collided on the first turn checking Amaroo Sand Man.  Sweet Willow and Longwarry Laurie collided entering the home straight.  Golden Dreams, Beau Mambo and General Hap collided approaching the winning post.

Lakeview Miss and Little Boy Sad were quick to begin.  Amaroo Jeronimo, Bush Wacked, Extra Stars and Nitro Drill were slow to begin.  Amaroo Jeronimo raced wide soon after the start checking Extra Stars.  Amaroo Jeronimo and Extra Stars collided approaching the first turn checking Amaroo Jeronimo.  Lakeview Miss, Where Are We and Sanzman collided on the first turn checking Lakeview Miss and Sanzman.  Nitro Drill, Lakeview Miss and Sanzman collided entering the home straight checking Lakeview Miss and Extra Stars.

Little Boy Sad was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right monkey muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. Graeme Joske the trainer of Little Boy Sad regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. Kay King the handler of the greyhound Sanzman regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Sanzman was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 5, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right chest muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1) the Stewards charged Sanzman with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury.  Mrs. King pleaded not guilty to the charge, Sanzman was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Big Fancy was a late scratching at 11.21am due to illness.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Just Wins was slow to begin.  Jagman and Irish Connection collided approaching the first turn.  Andiamo Neo was checked off Irish Connection on the first turn.  Bouchard and Irish Connection collided on the first turn.  Andiamo Neo was checked off Irish Connection approaching the home turn.  Bouchard and Irish Connection collided approaching the home turn checking Irish Connection.

Irish Connection was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left elbow, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Dr. Peter, Shattered Ice and Miss Penguin were slow to begin.  Happy Outlook, Dr. Peter and College Queen collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Dyna Nihlist and Miss Penguin collided approaching the first turn.  Almost Human and Miss Penguin collided several times approaching the first turn, on the first turn and approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  College Queen, Aston Dima and Dr. Peter collided approaching the winning post.

Satisfactory Trial Results -  Parlamo trialled over 400 metres from box 1, weight 27.3kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 23.22 secs, the greyhound was beaten a margin of a head.  Parlamo was cleared.
