A pre race sample was taken from Em Jo Lew.
Em Jo Lew and Dark Bullet were slow to begin. Avatar Girl and Avatar Millie collided soon after the start causing Avatar Girl to contact the running rail. Acca Believe It, Zealous Revenge and She's Lil collided approaching the first turn. Acca Believe It and Zealous Revenge collided on the first turn checking Zealous Revenge which fell as a result.
Avatar Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained superficial abrasions to the left elbow and hock, no stand down period was imposed.
Zealous Revenge was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.
