Star Walls was slow to begin. Samurai Spike and Dougie's Cactus collided soon after the start. Snooty Reg and Kudah Lady collided approaching the first turn checking Kudah Lady. Snooty Reg and Star Walls raced wide on the home turn. Shirdon Connorae and Alisha Jewel collided entering the home straight. Alisha Jewel and Dougie's Cactus collided approaching the winning post.

Stetson Surprize and Spring Hombre were quick to begin. Tat Jocko was slow to begin. Spring Hombre and Dr. Lance collided approaching the first turn. Jenny's Tam, Stetson Surprize and Clovalley Angus collided approaching the first turn checking Stetson Surprize. Spring Hombre, Dr. Lance and Twelve Steps collided on the first turn.  Tat Jocko, Clovalley Angus and Dr. Lance collided on the first turn.

Charltia Lad, Nifty Nefertiti and Malaro Magic collided soon after the start severely checking Malaro Magic. Kayden's Mickey and Malaro Magic collided approaching the first turn. Jemlee and Miss McCoy collided approaching the first turn. Miss McCoy and Jemlee collided on the home turn. Nifty Nefertiti and Clovalley Spike collided on the home turn and entering the home straight.

Malaro Magic was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained left shoulder and neck soreness, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Robusto and Cooly Queen were slow to begin. Kinloch Dee and Miss Miyake collided approaching the first turn. Vintage Daicos and Kinloch Dee collided on the first turn. Georgia's Osti and Cooly Queen were quick to begin. Miss Miyake and Sleepy Mime collided on the second turn checking Sleepy Mime. Kinloch Dee and Miss Miyake collided on the home turn. Miss Miyake and Cooly Queen collided in the home straight.

Sleepy Mime was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a sprained left tricep and right groin, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr. Optimistic and Magnum Oasis were quick to begin. Ruby's Entity was slow to begin.  Mr. Optimistic and Mott Haven collided soon after the start. Pollos Hermanos and Ruby's Entity collided approaching the first turn. Emajoe's Boy checked off Pollos Hermanos on the first turn. Ruby's Entity and Mott Haven collided on the home turn.

A sample was taken from Magnum Oasis - winner of the event.

Le Luca and Nitro Princess were slow to begin. Darcy's Entity and Go Go Zarbo collided soon after the start. Navaho and Nitro Princess collided soon after the start. Navaho checked off Nitro Princess approaching the first turn. Real Baroque and Le Luca collided on the first turn.

All Inn Troy and Tennessee Gal were slow to begin. Tennessee Gal, Hymie, Keith's Fiasco and Smouldering Ice collided soon after the start checking Smouldering Ice. Hymie and Broon Hilda collided approaching the first turn. Broon Hilda and Smouldering Ice collided approaching the first turn. All Inn Troy and Me Name's Nelson collided approaching the first turn.

Lonesome Pirate was quick to begin. Ice Contractor and Rosie Bronx collided soon after the start. Julie Fozz checked off Rosie Bronx soon after the start. Lollie Livewire, Cose Drom and McLanahan collided on the first turn severely checking McLanahan. Rosie Bronx and Ice Contractor collided on the home turn.

McLanahan was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.

Regal Gladiator was quick to begin. Wilson's Dream was slow to begin. Black Promise, Skirmish and Regal Villain collided approaching the first turn. Black Promise, Regal Villain, Wilson's Dream and Cosmic Mistake collided approaching the first turn checking Regal Villain. Cosmic Mistake and Wilson's Dream collided on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr A Spiteri regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Regal Gladiator . Stewards directed that Regal Gladiator be boxed first in future events.

A pre race sample was taken from Em Jo Lew.

Em Jo Lew and Dark Bullet were slow to begin. Avatar Girl and Avatar Millie collided soon after the start causing Avatar Girl to contact the running rail. Acca Believe It, Zealous Revenge and She's Lil collided approaching the first turn. Acca Believe It and Zealous Revenge collided on the first turn checking Zealous Revenge which fell as a result.

Avatar Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained superficial abrasions to the left elbow and hock, no stand down period was imposed.

Zealous Revenge was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.

Carwoola Saige was quick to begin. Kalimna Elite and Bodafan were slow to begin. Carwoola Saige crossed to the rail soon after the start. My Senorita, Black Vegas and Kalimna Elite collided on the first turn. Pevensay and Bodafan collided on the first turn. Pevensay and Kalimna Elite collided in the home straight. Pevensay and My Senorita collided in the home straight.

Mr P Kaltsis, trainer of Glitch redeclared a new weight of 28.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Glitch last raced at 27.6kg.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Lure Driver Mr B Groom  did not act in any official capacity for this event.

A pre race sample was taken from Miss Connochie.

Pagani Lola was quick to begin. Mr. Moo, Miss Connochie and Owen Newitt collided soon after the start checking Miss Connochie and Owen Newitt. Pagani Lola, Glitch and Judy's My Name collided approaching the first turn checking Judy's My Name. Miss Connochie tailed off in the home straight. Pagani Lola and Elite Bluestone collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr P Kaltsis, the trainer of the greyhound Miss Connochie regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Miss Connochie with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Kaltsis pleaded guilty to the charge, Miss Connochie was found guilty and suspended the greyhound for 3 months (all tracks) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Miss Connochie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained superficial abrasions to the left hock, no stand down period was imposed.

Meeting Comments-

Satisfactory Trial Results -Highfield Roco trialled over the 450m  from box 1, weight 31.8kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 26.06, the greyhound beaten by a margin of a head. Highfield Roco was cleared.
