Where's Salma was quick to begin.  Perry White, Talking To You, Majimba Rock and Van Nostrum were slow to begin.  Taling To You and Majimber Rock collided soon after the start checking Majimber Rock.  Arvo's Steva, Perry White and Talking To You collided on the first turn checking Arvo's Steva, severely checking Talking To You and Perry White.  Perry White fell as a result, severely checking Majimber Rock.  Van Nostrum checked off Where's Salma on the first turn.  Where's Salma and Arvo's Gringo collided approaching the home turn.  Talking To You and Majimber Rock collided on the home turn.  Van Nostrum and Arvo's Gringo collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Where's Salma tired over the concluding stages of the event.

Arvo's Steva was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found,

Where's Salma was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left hind toe, no stand down period was imposed.  Stewards issued a warning to Mr P. Trim, Trainer of the greyhound regarding its racing manners in the home straight.

Perry White was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right hip, and grazes to the left hind foot, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr G. Bartlett, Trainer of  Perry White and advised him that the greyhound would be closely monitored in future events after displaying signs of PEDS.

Riley's Charm, See The Power and Gee Whiz Gran were slow to begin.  Riley's Charm and See The Power collided approaching the first turn.  Gee Whiz Gran and Richo Brae collided approaching the first turn.  Riley's Charm and See The Power collided on the first turn checking See The Power.  Gee Whiz Gran and Richo Brae collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Riley's Charm galloped on the heels of Riley Jack entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr J. Barlow, Trainer of See The Power, regarding his tardiness in boxing the greyhound.

Big Vee, Uno Nando and Bella Broccoli were quick to begin.  Lumumba, Before Dawn and Bella Sprinter collided soon after the start checking Before Dawn.  Bella Sprinter checked off Bella Broccoli on the first turn.  Bella Sprinter galloped on the heels of Oriental Emily approaching the home turn checking Oriental Emily, causing Bella Sprinter to fall.  Tooradale raced wide on the home turn.

Bella Sprinter was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained lacerations to the left front toe, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  First-aid was administered to the greyhound.

Oriental Emily was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazes to the left calf, no stand down period was imposed.

Bruree Jewel and Marciarno Miss were quick to begin.  Nitrofied and Rite Stuff were slow to begin.  Day And Age and Marciarno Miss collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking Day And Age.  Big Mannie checked off Day And Age approaching the home turn.  Nitrofied raced wide on the home turn.  Big Mannie crossed to the outside entering the home straight.

Marry Rich was quick to begin.  Lone Survivor, Diablo Keroma, Dr. Timothy and Road Trip Blues collided soon after the start checking all four greyhounds.  Marry Rich and Cee Cee's Legacy collided approaching the first turn.  Diablo Keroma checked off Super Mif on the first turn.  Road Trip Blues and Super Mif collided on the first turn checking Road Trip Blues.  Dr. Timothy and Super Mif collided on the first turn.  Super Mif checked off Cee Cee's Legacy on the home turn.  Road Trip Blues and Cee Cee's Legacy collided on the home turn.  Dr. Timothy raced wide on the home turn.

King Ted was quick to begin.  Mrs. Dirts and Sky Alert were slow to begin.  Sam Harper and Nickenmax collided approaching the first turn checking Mrs. Dirts and Nickenmax.  Nickenmax contacted the running rail on the first turn and stumbled as a result.  Sam Harper and Sky Alert collided on the first turn checking Sam Harper, Cost Cutter and Sky Alert.  Cost Cutter and Nickenmax collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking Nickenmax.  Mrs. Dirts and Nickenmax collided on the home turn.

Nickenmax was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left dew claw, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Andromeda Lass and Delta Queen were quick to begin.  Buckle Up Brett, Tubesman and Tub's Rocket were slow to begin.  Buckle Up Brett and Southwod Juma collided approaching the first turn checking Buckle Up Brett and Tub's Rocket.  Southwood Juma and Tub's Rocket collided on the home turn.  Buckle Up Brett and Tub's Rocket collided in the home straight.  Tubesman tailed off in the event.

Tubesman was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Mr L. Mitchell, Handler of Tubesman, advised Stewards that it was his intention to retire the greyhound from racing.

Kenju crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Where's Steamy, He's Sensitive and Sisco Flyer.  Cool Mikado and Bangkok Star collided on the first turn checking Cool Mikado.  Sisco Flyer and Classique collided approaching the home turn.  He's Sensitive raced wide on the home turn.  Sisco Flyer and Daintree Sugar collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Dublin Dee and Lily Dior were slow to begin.  Won Wron Flyer crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Dynamite Maybe, La Trobe Lass and Brett's Choice.  Photon Flyer, Diablo's Angel and Dynamite Maybe collided approaching the first turn checking Diablo's Angel and Dynamite Maybe.  Dynamite Maybe and Diablo's Angel collided on the first turn, severely checking Diablo's Angel.

Dr. Taylor was a late scratching at 12.29pm by Order of Stewards. Stewards spoke to Ms. J. Gill, Trainer of the greyhound regarding as to why the incorrect greyhound was presented to race. Ms. Gill stated that she inadvertantly brought the wrong greyhound to the track.

Stewards charged Ms. Gill with a breach of GAR 86 (o) in that she failed to present the correct greyhound for engagement in Race 10, which in the opinion of the Stewards was negligent. Ms. Gill pleaded guilty to the charge. Ms. Gill was found guilty and was fined the sum of $250.

Hay Ty was quick to begin.  Wicked Wendy checked off Stylish Dancer approaching the first turn.  Our Miss Penny and Wicked Wendy collided several times approaching the first turn.  Lady Magic, Flux Capacitor and Stylish Dancer collided approaching the home turn.  Lady Magic checked off Flux Capacitor on the home turn.

Hypofonic, Daggy's Gift and Leah Entity were slow to begin.  Leah Entity and Smurf's Jacko collided on the first turn checking Smurf's Jacko.  Rozehill Maisie, Sonic Barnsey and Leah Entity collided on the home turn.  Rozehill Maisie and Leah Entity collided in the home straight.

Malevolent, Bubba's Boy, Why Not Luke and Sammy Jade collided soon after the start.  Malevolent, Bruree Miss, Grand Puzzle and Little Mantra collided on the first turn checking Little Mantra.  Bubba's Boy, Why Not Luke and Sammy Jade collided on the first turn checking Bubba's Boy and Sammy Jade.  Twisted Outlaw and Malevolent collided approaching the winning post.

Meeting Comments:

Lazza Mikado trialled over the 400m from Box 8, weight 32.3kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22.87, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.25.  Lazza Mikado was cleared.
