Steward's Report
King Ted was quick to begin. Mrs. Dirts and Sky Alert were slow to begin. Sam Harper and Nickenmax collided approaching the first turn checking Mrs. Dirts and Nickenmax. Nickenmax contacted the running rail on the first turn and stumbled as a result. Sam Harper and Sky Alert collided on the first turn checking Sam Harper, Cost Cutter and Sky Alert. Cost Cutter and Nickenmax collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking Nickenmax. Mrs. Dirts and Nickenmax collided on the home turn.
Nickenmax was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left dew claw, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
