Slipaway Jenifer was a late scratching at 11.50am on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Sinking Ship, Miss Karma and Tackfire were slow to begin. Mr. Alouette checked off Khandi Khandi approaching the first turn. Lucy Rae crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Faint Glimpse, Mr. Alouette and Sinking Ship. Tackfire and Miss Karma collided approaching the home turn. Khandi Khandi checked off Lucy Rae on the home turn. Sinking Ship and Faint Glimpse collided in the home straight checking Sinking Ship.
