L. Bridges, trainer of Kosmik King redeclared a new weight of 30.1kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Kosmik King last raced at 28.5kgs.

Vincent's Fury and Bold Caper were slow to begin.  Hotshot Booker checked off Dark Ouzo approaching the home turn.  Bold Caper checked off Baroness Jill on the home turn.  Bad Boy Brutus checked off Cawbourne Mighty in the home straight.  Baroness Jill and Bold Caper raced wide in the home straight.  Hotshot Booker and Dark Ouzo collided in the home straight checking Dark Ouzo.

Danny Brook was quick to begin.  Kuschy's Krypto, Verbal Warning, All Bolts and Claretown Jak collided approaching the first turn checking Verbal Warning and All Bolts and severely checking Kuschy's Krypto which contacted the running rail as a result.  All Bolts raced wide on the home turn checking Verbal Warning.  Claretown Jack checked off Bernmar Percy in the home straight.

Kuschy's Krypto was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Verbal Warning was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 5, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right shoulder.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Katie Sullivan was slow to begin.  Kyah Jenny, Hotlips Matilda, Wicky Secret and Bernmar Pauline collided soon after the start.  Blonde Nellie, Black Rum and Kadali collided approaching the first turn checking Black Rum and Kadali.  Black Rum and Kadali collided entering the back straight checking Kadali.  Kyah Jenny and Blonde Nellie collided in the back straight.  Hotlips Matilda faltered approaching the second turn and tailed off as a result.  Kyah Jenny and Black Rum collided entering the home straight.  Black Rum and Kadali collided in the home straight.

Hotlips Matilda was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to it's right thigh and right hock.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Slipaway Jenifer was a late scratching at 11.50am on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Sinking Ship, Miss Karma and Tackfire were slow to begin.  Mr. Alouette checked off Khandi Khandi approaching the first turn.  Lucy Rae crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Faint Glimpse, Mr. Alouette and Sinking Ship.  Tackfire and Miss Karma collided approaching the home turn.  Khandi Khandi checked off Lucy Rae on the home turn.  Sinking Ship and Faint Glimpse collided in the home straight checking Sinking Ship.

Flynn O'Malley, Super Leggera and Why Not Marie were slow to begin.  Knocka Less, Super Leggera and Why Not Marie collided approaching the first turn.  Julie Fozz and Flynn O'Malley collided several times approaching the home turn checking Flynn O'Malley.

Denman Flyer was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left shoulder.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Wizard Of Offaly was slow to begin.  Dyna Prankster and Wood Shed collided soon after the start checking Wood Shed.  Wizard Of Offaly checked off Broad Betty on the first turn checking Varix and Wood Shed.  Woodland Jack checked off Wizard Of Offaly approaching the home turn.  Wizard Of Offaly and Wood Shed collided approaching the home turn.

Rich Azz Yeew and Which Arandt were quick to begin.  Astana Spur and Grand Jet collided soon after the start checking Grand Jet.  Paramount Thunda and Lacka Detail collided approaching the first turn checking Lacka Detail.  Which Arandt and Paramount Thunda collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Which Arandt and Paramount Thunda collided on the first turn checking Which Arandt.  Three Card Trick and Lacka Detail collided on the first turn checking Lacka Detail.  Twobeeyou veered out and marred the running of Rich Azz Yeew approaching the home turn, on the home turn and again entering the home straight severely checking both greyhounds.  Grand Jet and Astana Spur collided approaching the winning post checking Grand Jet.

Twobeeyou was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left shoulder.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. N. Tait, the trainer of the greyhound Twobeeyou regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn, on the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Twobeeyou with marring.  Mr. N. Tait pleaded guilty to the charge.  Twobeeyou was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Code Breaker was quick to begin.  Flaming Bob was slow to begin.  Who Told Lochie, Crymelon Sunrise and Mad Russian collided soon after the start checking Crymelon Sunrise and Mad Russian.  Mad Russian faltered approaching the first turn.  Who Told Lochie checked off Bowstreet Buster entering the home straight. 

Flaming Bob was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Mad Russian was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to it's left thigh (dropped muscle) and it's right thigh.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Full Slippers was slow to begin.  Vizzari and Open All Nite collided soon after the start.  Pentapod, Claretown Clyde, Open All NIte, Twirly Bird and Vizzari collided on the first turn checking Vizzari and Victoria Jay and severely checking Bernmar Nitro and Claretown Clyde; Claretown Clyde stumbled as a result.  Vizzari checked off Bernmar Nitro in the home straight.  Full Slippers raced wide in the home straight.

Vizzari was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Claretown Clyde was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustainedan injury to it's left shoulder.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Cosmic Buddy was slow to begin.  Rick The Rock, Ima Hot Fox and Diablo's Angel collided soon after the start checking Rick The Rock and Ima Hot Fox.  Santa and Marita Jay collided approaching the first turn checking Marita Jay.  Wolf Spy and Rick The Rock collided on the first turn checking Rick The Rock.  Diablo's Angel and Wolf Spy collided approaching the home turn checking Diablo's Angel and Marita Jay.  Ima Hot Fox galloped on the heels of Cosmic Buddy approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Diablo's Angel and Rick The Rock collided entering the home straight.

D. Minarelli, trainer of Ima Legend redeclared a new weight of 36.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Ima Legend last raced at 34.7kg.

Regal Diamonds, Ima Legend and Blue Noise were slow to begin.  Cattagio and Super Indigo collided approaching the first turn.  Super Indigo, Regal Diamonds, Gold Galleon and Blue Noise collided on the first turn checking Ima Legend and Blue Noise and severely checking Regal Diamonds and Gold Galleon.  Cattogio and Aunty Janet collided approaching the home turn.  Cattogio and Aunty Janet raced wide in the home straight.

Regal Diamonds was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to it's right front foot.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Gold Galleon was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained minor abrasions.  No stand down period was imposed.

Croky Boy was slow to begin.  Lovey, Prince Shak and Remo Coffee collided soon after the start checking Remo Coffee.  Eumeralla Danny and Bandsaw collided on the first turn checking Croky Boy.  Bandsaw raced wide on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Ms. A. Daisley regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Remo Coffee.  Stewards directed that Remo Coffee be boxed first in future events.
