D. Minarelli, trainer of Ima Legend redeclared a new weight of 36.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Ima Legend last raced at 34.7kg.
Regal Diamonds, Ima Legend and Blue Noise were slow to begin. Cattagio and Super Indigo collided approaching the first turn. Super Indigo, Regal Diamonds, Gold Galleon and Blue Noise collided on the first turn checking Ima Legend and Blue Noise and severely checking Regal Diamonds and Gold Galleon. Cattogio and Aunty Janet collided approaching the home turn. Cattogio and Aunty Janet raced wide in the home straight.
Regal Diamonds was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to it's right front foot. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Gold Galleon was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained minor abrasions. No stand down period was imposed.
