Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Mickey Blazer.
Hilstrom Bale and Dashing Robin were quick to begin.
Spartan Flame lost ground in the back straight and continued to concede ground for the remainder of the event. Spartan Flame underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined after race 5. It was reported the greyhound was found to have a left biceps femoris muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr. N. Hunt, regarding the performance of Spartan Flame throughout the event. After hearing submissions from Mr. Hunt, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Spartan Flame to be unsatisfactory. Spartan Flame must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Dashing Robin - the winner of the event.
