Lyley Boy, Ashanti Crown and Claretown Jak were slow to begin.
Claretown Jak checked off Tail Light soon after the start. Lyley Boy and Ashanti Crown collided approaching the first turn, on the first turn and approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds, both greyhounds fell as a result.
Lyley Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Ashanti Crown was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right coupling. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
