Charlie Pearce, Vapour Patch and Crystal Cameo collided approaching the first turn severely checking Vapour Patch which stumbled as a result. Love To Me raced wide in the back straight. Memory Bound galloped on the heels of Crystal Cameo approaching the home turn checking Hotlips Matilda and Love To Me and causing Memory Bound to fall. Vapour Patch raced wide approaching the home turn and collided with Love To Me checking Vapour Patch, Love To Me and Hotlips Matilda.
Vapour Patch was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left fore leg. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.
Memory Bound was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in the right wrist. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.
