With A Beer was quick to begin. Riccochet Jessy and Lynlaw Ollie were slow to begin and collided soon after the start checking Lynlaw Ollie. Shout Out Loud and Spring Premier collided soon after the start checking Spring Premier. Madiba Man and Joe Handson collided on the first turn checking Joe Handson. Joe Handson, Spring Premier and Super Laney collided on the first turn checking Spring Premier and Joe Handson. Ricochet galloped on the heels of Joe Handson approaching the home turn checking Joe Handson. Super Laney raced wide in the home straight. 

Lynlaw Ollie was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Charlie Pearce, Vapour Patch and Love To Me were slow to begin. Charlie Pearce, Vapour Patch and Crystal Cameo collided approaching the first turn severely checking Vapour Patch which stumbled as a result. Love To Me raced wide in the back straight. Memory Bound galloped on the heels of Crystal Cameo approaching the home turn checking Hotlips Matilda and Love To Me and causing Memory Bound to fall. Vapour Patch raced wide approaching the home turn and collided with Love To Me checking Vapour Patch, Love To Me and Hotlips Matilda.

Vapour Patch was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left fore leg. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.

Memory Bound was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in the right wrist. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Love To Me was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained damage to the lrft 5th toe pad. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. B. Baxter, the trainer of Vapour Patch regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the home turn.

Fat Garry and Mouyong Jimmy were slow to begin. Honey Boo Boo crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Faint Glimpse, Corgi Cry and La Trobe Lass. Jemlee and Slipaway Jenifer collided approaching the first turn. Faint Glimpse checked off Jemlee on the first turn. Jemlee, Slipaway Jenifer and Corgi Cry collided approaching the home turn checking Slipaway Jenifer, Corgi Cry and La Trobe Lass.

Victoria Jay and Alouette Magic were slow to begin. Gobble Gobble, Wicked Unit and Ice Flicka collided soon after the start. Gobble Gobble, Wicked Unit, Ice Flicka and Victoria Jay collided on the first turn checking Ice Flicka and Victoria Jay. Three Card Trick and Alouette Magic collided in the back straight. Ice Flicka and Three Card Trick collided on the second turn checking Three Card Trick. Wicked Unit and Gobble Gobble collided approaching the home turn checking Wicked Unit. Ice Flicka and Victoria Jay collided on the home turn. Wicked Unit and Alouette Magic collided in the home straight. 

Three Card Trick was vetted and re-vetted following event 7. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left back muscle injury. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

Code Breaker and Charlie Image were slow to begin. Code Breaker, Whiz Kid and Bit Iffy collided soon after the start. Effie Trinket and Tenebrae collided approaching the first turn. Code Breaker and Emma Reg collided on the first turn severely checking Emma Reg which stumbled as a result. Whiz Kid, Bit Iffy and Charlie Image collided on the first turn checking Charlie Image and severely checking Bit Iffy. Effie Trinkett and Tenebrae collided on the first turn checking Effie Trinkett. Charlie Image checked off Whiz Kid entering the home straight. Effie Trinkett and Code Breaker raced wide in the home straight.

Bit Iffy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right shoulder injury. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed. 

Emma Reg was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right tricep and soreness in the left wrist. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

Robusto, Can Of Worms and Pat The Baker were slow to begin. Acola Jade and Miss Trinidad collided soon after the start. Rex Best and Miss Trinidad collided approaching the first turn checking Rex Best. After crossed to the rails approaching the first turn checking Can Of Worms and severely checking Zipping Elwin. Acola Jade and Robusto collided on the first turn. Miss Trinidad checked off After approaching the third turn. Acola Jade and Robusto collided on the third turn, several times on the home turn and again entering the home straight.

Max McGuiness was quick to begin. Southwood Denis and Cosmic Jim were slow to begin. Max McGuiness and Bet Bet May collided soon after the start. Fear The Pom, Black Odin and Bet Bet May collided approaching the first turn. Bet Bet May galloped on the heels of Black Odin on the first turn checking Black Odin.

Le Luca and Dyna Andy were slow to begin.

Delta Queen was quick to begin and crossed to the rail soon after the start. Boom Boom Shiraz and Smashing Century collided on the first turn checking Boom Boom Shiraz. Smashing Century and Banga Speed collided approaching the home turn checking Smashing Century. Delta Queen and Railway Smokey collided on the home turn.

Toy Tsunami and Tennessee Gal were slow to begin. Don's Bullet contacted the running rail on the first turn checking Toy Tsunami. Billyo raced wide on the home turn. Shannon Capricio brushed the running rail on the second turn. Nishikori eased on the home turn and collided several times with Billyo.

Billyo was vetted following the event. It was reported that Billyo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left pencil muscle injury. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Shannon Capricio was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in the left hamstring. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Nishikori was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left back musle injury and a right triangle injury. A stand down period of 21 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Ashton, the trainer of the greyhound Nishikori regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Nishikori with marring. Mr. K. Ashton pleaded guilty to the charge, Nishikori was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69 A(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Em Jo Lew and Moonlight Cloud were slow to begin. Matty's Caravan, Em Jo Lew, Ello Reg and Moonlight Cloud collided soon after the start. Em Jo Lew checked off Matty's Caravan approaching the first turn checking Ello Reg. Star Ripper raced wide in the back straight. Belena Bolt checked off Miss Belena on the first turn. Star Ripper raced wide in the home straight.

Em Jo Lew was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Jordan Formosa, handler of Em Jo Lew regarding the greyhounds performance in today's event. Mr. Formosa stated that, in his opinion, Em Jo Lew suffered interference in the early stages of the race which was detrimental to the greyhounds overall performance. He further added that Em Jo Lew races best when in a forward position. Stewards noted his explanation and will monitor the greyhounds performance when it races at Bendigo this coming Wednesday.

Go Wild Phil and Dynamic Groover were slow to begin.
