Steward's Report
Tiger Pride, Love Me To, Pitt Street and Cruisy Surprise were slow to begin. Stetson Quamby and Trakker Lass collided on the first turn checking Stetson Quamby. Trakker Lass, Poppy Greene and Cruisy Surprise collided in the back straight checking Trakker Lass. Pitt Street eased on the second turn.
Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Salpigtidis, the trainer of the greyhound Pitt Street. Pitt Street was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right shoulder and right stopper, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Pitt Street with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
