Steward's Report
Aussie Irish, Nishikori and Sparkeen were slow to begin. Julie Fozz, Jayne Fozz, Bolar Blade and Emma Reg collided soon after the start checking Julie Fozz, Jayne Fozz and Bolar Blade. Bolar Blade, Aussie Irish and Nishikori collided on the first turn checking Bolar Blade and Aussie Irish. Jayne Fozz and Aussie Irish raced wide in the back straight. Emma Reg checked off Sparkeen on the second turn. Bolar Blade and Jayne Fozz collided on the second turn checking Bolar Blade. Jayne Fozz raced wide on the home turn.
Bolar Blade was vetted and re-vetted following race 8. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triceps injury and a soreness in the right groin. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to Mrs. S. Trim, the handler of Bolar Blade regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the second turn.
