Steward's Report
Where's Lesley, Jet Fighter, Crymelon Ivy and Comet To Burn were quick to begin.
Brightly Staring checked and fell home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right fore toe, left shouler, left hind toe and left bicep. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Jet Fighter racing manners home turn and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr P Dunlevey regarding Jet Fighter’s performance and racing manners on the home turn After hearing submissions from Mr P Dunlevey, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Jet Fighter unsatisfactory. Jet Fighter must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
