Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Club Official Mr P Carter did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.
Claretown Mikey and Iceni Lethal were quick to begin. Single Flicker was slow to begin.
Mr. Boo brushed running rail first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left bicep and a sand toe to the left hind toe. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Iceni Lethal underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to a right hind toe. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to representative Mrs Susan Grey regarding Iceni Lethal’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Iceni Lethal was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Grey pleaded guilty to the charge. Iceni Lethal must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
