Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Ms Bonnie Chignell did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.

Canya Hypersonic, Elliana and Chip And Tail all underwent post race veterinary examinations - no apparent injuries were reported for these greyhounds.

Aunt Virginia underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the fore legs. No down was imposed.

Ayla Rose underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the fore legs. No stand down was imposed.

Stewards held the All Clear after the lure lost power and came to a stop in the back straight. Pursuant to GAR 110, the event was declared a ‘No Race’. All bets are to be refunded. The weights recorded for the greyhounds are void and do not count for the purposes of the weight rule at the greyhounds’ next start. The event was then abandoned, with prizemoney to be split evenly between the greyhounds which competed. 

The Stewards made no orders in accordance with GAR 111(2)(a). As such, the Stewards conducted a random public ballot to determine the greyhounds to further participate in the series (final) on 21/6/24, in accordance with GAR 111 (2) (b).

Due to the mechanical issue with the lure that could not be rectified, the Stewards abandoned races 10, 11 and 12 at 18:15, pursuant to GAR 111(4). All bets on greyhounds in the abandoned races are to be refunded. The weights recorded for the greyhounds in the abandoned races are void and do not count for the purposes of the weight rule at the greyhounds’ next start. Prizemoney for these races will be split evenly between the eligible greyhounds as at the time of abandonment.
