Canya Amy was quick to begin. Pigwidgeon was slow to begin.
Post–race samples were taken from Canya Amy (1st) and Osanna Bale (2nd).
Donnington Girl turned its head outwards and collided with Lena Jynx over the concluding stages, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind pencil muscle injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Cameron Morris-Flynn regarding Donnington Girl’s racing manners over the concluding stages. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Donnington Girl was charged with marring. Mr Morris-Flynn pleaded guilty to the charge. Donnington Girl was suspended for three months at all tracks and must perform two Satisfactory Trial/s in accordance with GAR 127 (c), and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
