Steward's Report
A pre–race sample was taken from Groovebird.
Cruising Debbie and Here Comes Milli were quick to begin. Aunt Virginia was slow to begin.
Post–race blood and urine samples were taken from Here Comes Milli (1st). Post-race urine samples were taken from Granny Roses (2nd) and Cruising Debbie (3rd).
Stewards opened and adjourned an inquiry with Trainer Jeff Britton in relation to the bona fides of the withdrawal of Mackinaw Peach, which in turn provided kennel mate Groovebird a start from Box 3. Stewards directed a veterinary certificate of fitness to be produced before any further nominations are accepted for Mackinaw Peach, in accordance with GAR19(3)(w).
