Steward's Report
Sassy Skye – Late scratching at 6.09am when Mr. Mark Giddings reported the greyhound to have a virus (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
Spicy Siren and Claretown Sadie were quick to begin. Lamont Bale was slow to begin.
A post-race smaple was taken from Claretown Sadie - the winner of ther event.
Aston Beaufort - checked and stumbled first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left traingle muscle injury and laceration to the left metatarsal. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Van Dieman - checked and lost ground home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left tricep muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
